Limited Warranty Policy
General Warranty Terms
This warranty is based on the assumption of normal residential use and proper care. Any damage resulting from external forces or conditions beyond the control of The Refinishing Pros is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
Events including, but not limited to, impact, moisture entrapment, plumbing leaks, negligence, abuse, or improper use shall immediately void this warranty.
Warranty Coverage
The Refinishing Pros warrants its bathtub and shower refinishing services for a period of three (3) years from the date of service completion against bubbling and peeling caused solely by workmanship or product defects.
This warranty applies only to refinishing services performed by The Refinishing Pros and is valid exclusively under normal residential use, provided that all recommended care and maintenance guidelines are followed.
Commercial properties, rental properties, multi-family units, and investment properties are expressly excluded from this warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions are not covered under this warranty:
Chipping
Surfaces may chip regardless of whether they have been refinished. In the event a refinished surface becomes chipped, the affected area should be kept as dry as possible, and The Refinishing Pros must be contacted promptly to schedule a repair.

A minimum repair fee of $300 will apply.

Immediate attention is critical, particularly if the chip is located below the waterline. Prolonged water exposure may allow moisture to penetrate beneath the coating, resulting in bubbling or peeling and potentially rendering the surface non-repairable if the affected area expands.
Moisture Entrapment
Placing items such as soap bottles, containers, washcloths, loofahs, or bar soap directly on a refinished surface may trap moisture between the item and the coating. Over time, this condition can cause bubbling and peeling upon removal of the item.
To prevent moisture accumulation, The Refinishing Pros strongly recommends the use of shower caddies, wall-mounted soap dishes, or storage racks.
Unrepaired Leaks
Any plumbing leaks—regardless of frequency or severity—particularly around drains, faucets, or fixtures, may cause moisture intrusion beneath the refinished surface. This can result in bubbling, peeling, and coating failure.
All plumbing leaks must be repaired promptly. Damage resulting from ongoing, intermittent, or unresolved leaks is not covered under this warranty.
Repairs & Limitations
This warranty is strictly limited to defects related to workmanship and product materials.
The Refinishing Pros does not warrant against the recurrence of rust, cracks, chips, or holes if the underlying cause of the condition has not been properly identified and corrected. Such underlying causes may include, but are not limited to:

Structural movement or building settlement

Improper original installation

Existing or prior water damage

Plumbing defects or leaks

Pre-existing damage to the same area
In these circumstances, refinishing is a cosmetic restoration that improves appearance but does not eliminate the underlying condition.
Policy Modifications
The Refinishing Pros reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this Warranty Policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes shall apply to services performed on or after the effective date of the revised policy. Warranty coverage for previously completed services shall be governed by the policy in effect at the time the service was performed.
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be reported immediately upon discovery of a potential issue. Failure to report promptly may result in additional damage that is not repairable or eligible for warranty coverage.
