Q:How does the tub refinishing process work?
A: We start with an assessment and thorough cleaning-removing soap scum, mildew, and any old caulking, then protect surrounding areas with masking and drop cloths. Chip repairs are done if needed. Next we spray two coats of bonding agent and we finish with two coats of durable topcoat. After coatings reach the recommended dry state we remove masking, clean surrounding surfaces, and finish with new caulking; timelines, costs, and cure times vary by project and are detailed in your estimate.

Q: How long does it take to refinish my tub ?
A: Most of our tub refinishing projects take about 4-5 hours to complete. It can vary if additional work is needed.

Q:How long the tub will be out of service ?
A: In most cases the tub can be used after 24 hours.

Q: Is it going to smell ?
A: Yes, for just a little bit. While we usually use low VOC products when we refinish tubs and ALWAYS use exhaust fans to ventilate the area , there might be some smell for the first few days.

Q: Why not DIY tub refinishing kit ?
A: While you can refinish your bathtub with a DIY kit, it is not the same finish and durability as our professional grade product. We apply the product by special sprayer and this allows flawless finish that lasts. We actually do help a lot of homeowners with failed DIY applications , it just takes more time and costs more. Some things needs to be left to the PROs.
